We're looking for a Loan Account Manager to join our Collectors Capital team who will administer asset-backed loans and support the development of financial products and services to grow this exciting area of the business. Key responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service to our external and internal clients. You must have excellent communication and organizational skills. This role works closely with the Legal, Operations, Vault, Accounting, and Consignments. 

You will be a key leader in building the premier collectibles finance business, bridging the worlds of financial services and collecting, servicing a VIP client portfolio, and working on strategic initiatives to support and fuel business growth. We are looking for someone to be an integral part of our team who is scrappy, detail-oriented, loves partnering across teams to create great experiences for our customers, and the potential to take on more front office responsibilities over time.

You'll report to our Senior Director of Collectors Capital. This is a remote role. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Client Management
    • Coordinate the execution of NDAs and Engagement Letters with prospective clients 
    • Liaise with clients and internal partners to gather necessary supporting documentation for loan due diligence and underwriting, including with respect to “know your client” processes and anti-money laundering monitoring and screening programs
    • Work with the Vault team to assist in coordinating moves/pick-ups of property and ensuring that each item of prospective collateral is sufficiently insured 
    • Engage with client and internal resources to identify, prioritize, and execute on client requests 
    • Manage collateral database, and track the location and consignment status of each collateral item and analyze sales results
    • Assist with UCC filings and comparable international registration systems’ filings, including UCC-1 financing statements, amendments, continuations, and terminations
    • Liaise with delinquent borrowers to collect on outstanding balances 
    • Enforce Collectors’ loan policies and draft communications to borrowers in breach of contractual covenants 
    • Identify areas for improvement and participate in efforts to draft and implement solutions 
    • Perform other administrative duties, as required 
  • Client Accounting 
    • Provide administrative support to maintain client accounts and up-to-date information and data
    • Monitor consignments and performance of all active loans, track collateral sales and loan balances, calculate interest accruals, and prepare statements and invoices 
    • Provide statements and invoices to clients on a timely basis
    • Monitor active loan portfolio to ensure timely payment and assist in resolution of delinquent accounts
    • Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines
    • Partner with the accounting department to prepare and verify borrower account reconciliations  
    • Coordinate with accounting department to record, track and pay expenses
  • Reporting 
    • Assist with document preparation, including reports for senior management
    • Maintain loan files, track record reports, and analysis of sale results relative to appraisals 
    • Handle requests for information and paperwork from internal and external auditors and state regulatory agencies
    • Support Senior Director in deal execution, including assistin
