The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Production & Material Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Lead Supply Chain daily and weekly tier processes where you will give updates regarding output vs forecast, production schedules, capacity and material constraints, backorder recovery timelines
- Lead monthly and quarterly reviews of results and provide direction on manufacturing strategies to ensure alignment with supply chain and operation goals
- Maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure high service levels on components
- Define and sponsor continuous improvement projects to meet business goals and improve key metrics of lead time reduction, inventory reduction, customer service (OTIF), Backorders, Lead Time Adherence.
- Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory and customer service targets
- Manage plant supply chain organization with direct supervision of supply chain and procurement analysts
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND eight (8) combined years of continuous improvement experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, logistics/distribution, and/or transactional/office settings
OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND twelve (12) years of combined years of continuous improvement experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, logistics/distribution, and/or transactional/office settings
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- APICS Certification
- Experience using A+ ERP, creating BOXI / Power BI reports, and utilizing Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
Work location:
- Onsite (Monrovia, CA)
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic
