ADHS is looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently while also working collaboratively in teams and across organizations. The developer will be responsible for developing new applications and modifying existing applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices. This role proactively solves complex problems, supports production systems, and builds strong relationships inside and outside the organization. Additionally, the developer will engage directly with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and prepare necessary technical documentation.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Job Duties:</span> </div> <div> <p><span><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong><br/>• Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end-user service requests as assigned.<br/>• Develops new applications to meet functional and technical designs.<br/>• Works with cross functional teams to design and develop systems/data integration efforts.<br/>• Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines.<br/>• Prepares technical documentation on application specifications and creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle, such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation.<br/>• Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications.<br/>• Other duties as assigned as related to the position.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities (KSAs):</span> </div> <div> <p><span><strong>Knowledge of:</strong><br/>• Considerable working knowledge of multiple programming languages, multiple database management systems, and multiple development platforms.<br/>• Performance Management (PM), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and Lean methodologies.<br/><br/><strong>Skilled in:</strong><br/>• Strong customer service skills.<br/>• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.<br/><br/><strong>Ability to:</strong><br/>• Develop and write technical documentation.<br/>• Quickly learn and develop in new programming languages, APIs, and platforms, as well as evaluate and test emerging technologies.<br/>• Apply creative solutions to business problems to ensure business needs are most effectively met.<br/>• Balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks.<br/>• Work collaboratively in teams and across organizations, synthesize feedback, and adjust plans accordingly.<br/>• Build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.<br/>• Support a diverse multi-cultural workforce that reflects the community, promotes equal opportunity, and creates an inclusive work environment.</span></p> </div> <div> <span>Selective Preference(s):</span> </div> <div> <p><span><span>• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 or more years of programming and analysis experience (or equivalent experience)<br/>• No degree, 5 plus years of relevant experience.</span></span></p> </div> <div> <span>Pre-Employment Requirements:</span> </div> <div> <p><span><span>• Must possess a valid level one fingerprint clearance card issues pursuant to A.R.S. §36-113.</span></span></p> <p><span><em>If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State bus
