This is a unique opportunity to support in designing and building processes and standards from the ground up, driving innovation and efficiency at every step, and have a “helicopter view” of the company’s business model. You will have the authority to set best practices, introduce scalable solutions, and implement future-ready workflows that support our ambitious growth. At Entrix, automation is at the heart of our culture, and you will be empowered to leverage cutting-edge tools and technology to streamline operations and maximize impact</span></p><span><br/></span><p><span><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><u>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis:</u><br/>Actuals: support in the implementation of our FP&amp;A system (Abacum), and eventually be co-responsible for the Actuals reporting &amp; variance analysis, including insights and proposals for corrective actions.</p></li><li><p><u>Financial Planning &amp; Analysis:</u><br/>Forecasts: financial modeling on our FP&amp;A platform. This includes provision of inputs across departments through regular and ad-hoc business partnering.</p></li><li><p><u>New Countries Set-Up:</u><br/>Support in the creation of new entities, the adoption of ERP systems, and the integration with our “single-source-of-truth database”</p></li><li><p><u>AP/AR Oversight:</u><br/>Support on accounts payable/receivable internally and externally. Ensure payments are executed correctly and timely. Be the go-to person regarding escrow accounts, collaterals, and client reporting topics</p></li><li><p><u>Payment / Invoice &amp; Accrual Automation:</u><br/>Co-lead projects relating to full automation of internal finance tasks</p></li><li><p><u>Fundraising:</u><br/>Help the finance team in preparatory tasks relating to future fundraising initiatives</p></li><li><p><u>Operational Finance: </u><br/>Share responsibility with other team members on invoice management, payments, T&amp;E management, or other tasks, as they arise.</p></li><li><p><u>Admin Support: </u><br/>Work closely with the founder’s associate, the finance operations team, or other departments on ad-hoc projects; examples include bank-accounts opening, KYC documentation, public grants applications</p></li></ul> <h3>Your Profile</h3> <p><u><span>Mandatory Requirements</span></u><span><br/></span></p><ul><li><p>4+ years of experience in Finance, ideally in a high-growth fast paced environment</p></li><li><p>Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field from a leading institution (Master’s degree and/or CFA preferred)</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of strategic financial thinking and autonomous working style</p></li><li><p>Business proficiency (C2) in English; German (B2+) would be beneficial<br/><br/></p></li></ul><p><span><u>Skills to Set You Apart</u><br/></span></p><ul><li><p>Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups with concrete examples of having to “wear multiple hats”</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience leading complex finance set-ups, with JVs, Subsidiaries abroad, and rather complex transactions (for example, negative prices on commodities etc)</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of FP&amp;A processes and its success factors</p></li><li><p>Initiatives relating to process automation through adoption of digital tools</p></li><li><p>Ownership and accountability for end-to-end finance processes and projects<br/><br/></p></li></ul><p><span><u>This role may not be a fit for you if…</u><br/></span></p><ul><li><p>You do not have any kind of Business Background (studies or work experience).</p></li><li><p>You are not passionate about energy markets and their complexities</p></li><li><p>You are uncomfortable working with ambiguity, rapid experimentation, and evolving priorities</p></li></ul><span><br/></span><p><em><span>At Entrix, we are committed to diversity - of all backgrounds and experiences.
