Position Overview

Zelis prides itself on delivering solutions to modernize the healthcare financial experience for all.  Our success is largely dependent on the ability of the product team to deliver on large, strategic initiatives.  We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our product team and continue to make an impact in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion, ensuring our products and services are rolled out and operationalized successfully.

What You’ll Do

• Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives (MITs)
• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement 
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance 
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring program goals are reached 
• Establish KPIs to measure success and track the status to ensure maximum productivity   
• Create roll out and operationalization strategy
• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned product managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Develop and manage KPIs for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders
• Create and track rollout plans required, including the steps to successfully operationalize
• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
• Experience in managing stakeholders
• Working knowledge of healthcare, preferably in the payments space
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years in healthcare experience (preferred)
• PMP Certification (preferred)

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
