Job Description

Coffman Engineers is seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, and technically minded Senior Discipline Engineer (15+years) to join our team and apply your engineering skills to challenging projects. The successful candidate will be an outgoing and enthusiastic self-starter, with a desire to work and grow with a multidiscipline engineering team and be willing to have fun!

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Structural Engineering or a related field
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (preferred)
• Registration as a S.E.
• 15+ years minimum of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures
• Experience with computer analysis software systems
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills
• Being comfortable consulting to architectural practices
• Experience and ability to maintain working relationships with clients
• Experience as a project manager
• Working as part of a multi-discipline design team
• Effective technical writing and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• A positive attitude with a focus on team and client success.

Expected annual salary range depending on experience:  

$115,500-$156,500
