About the role

Role Purpose:

Direct, lead and develop the content operations team to deliver globally consistent experiences across pre-conference planning and onsite execution for corporate conferences; Drive agenda, process and technology improvements to support business growth while maintaining world class experiences for associates and attendees

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with corporate operations on conference creation, configuration and execution, maximizing associate experience

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to corporate objectives

  • Partner with internal BU partners on agenda strategy, structure and delivery for corporate conferences

  • Implement and support adoption of new technology and processes.

  • Partner with content technology and IT on enhancements for corporate conference execution, defining requirements for projects and participating in testing to ensure desired results

  • Support flawless delivery of corporate conferences, including agenda delivery, session management, capacity management, technology configuration and testing

  • Escalation for content related issues during virtual or in-person corporate conferences

  • Oversee the conference delivery of the agenda experience. Onsite management of session rooms, technology, temporary staff and escalation for attendee/ associate queries

  • Analyze engagement and feedback to drive enhancements across agendas, content processes and content technology platforms for corporate conferences

  • Onsite delivery support for global destination conferences
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on events and/or marketing preferred

  • 7-10 years of business meeting planning experience

  • Management experience leading a team

Competencies, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in dynamic environments

  • Proven budget management abilities and project management experience

  • Effective at building relationships with global internal and external partners

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Must be self-motivated, articulate and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills    

  • Willingness to travel 25% globally

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 79,200 USD - 123,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
