Hearthside Manor, our lovely memory care community located in University Place, WA has a current opening for a Resident Care Coordinator. This position would involve coordinating care and services for our residents. Requirements
Requirements:
- Valid HCA or CNA license;
- Minimum three years of experience as a Medication Aide;
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check;
- Must be able to respect the privacy and confidentiality of residents and have a clear understanding of residents’ rights;
- Must be adept at all skills necessary to provide ADL in service to care staff, including: the ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds routinely, and the ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach;
- Must have outstanding written and oral skills;
- Must possess a “problem solver” mentality- find creative solutions to challenges;
- Must have the ability to provide leadership/instruction in all resident care functions;
- Must possess a working, current knowledge of state regulations for MC;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field;
- Experience in management within long-term care, elder care, or home health care;
- Experience writing or assisting with negotiated service agreements
