Paint Group Lead 1st shift

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for operating and tending plastic molding machines to mold plastic automotive parts.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

• Follow and enforce all Environmental and Safety Rules.
• Read, follow, and enforce Standard Work Instructions.
• Audit groups performance.
• Visually scan parts for quality defects.
• Understanding the targets and goals for the department.
• Can recognize downtime and manage effectively.
• Package parts according to customers' requirements.
• Able to take corrective action to quality issues.
• Follow established procedures to reject nonconforming products.
• Ensure production paperwork is correct and filled out completely.
• Maintain and enforce clean work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Self-motivated
• Ability to train and work with others
• Good attendance
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work overtime
