👉 About the job

At Enertis Applus+, we are looking for a Senior Project manager to join our consultancy team.

🛠️ What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead technical due diligence projects for utility-scale solar and BESS assets.
  • Serve as primary client interface, ensuring clear communication of technical risks, mitigations, and recommendations to lenders, investors, and sponsors.
  • Coordinate and oversee technical specialists (civil, electrical, structural, energy modeling, storage, environmental) to deliver high-quality, bankable reports under tight deadlines.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for multiple concurrent projects; ensure delivery excellence and profitability.
  • Provide technical oversight of project documents: design drawings, equipment specifications, interconnection studies, project agreements, construction monitoring reports, performance tests and others.
  • Support M&A transactions from a technical lens by conducting asset reviews, CAPEX/OPEX benchmarking, and operational performance assessments.
  • Collaborate with business development and senior leadership to scope proposals, define deliverables, and build client relationships.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement, training, and mentoring of junior staff within the Independent Engineering team.

🎯 What are we looking for?

We are looking for talent, not perfection. If you believe you can contribute to the team, even if your profile does not fit 100%, we want to hear from you.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (Master’s or PE license preferred).
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in Independent Engineering or Owner’s Engineering for large-scale solar and/or BESS projects.
  • Proven track record managing technical due diligence for financing or M&A transactions in the U.S. market.
  • Familiarity with U.S. codes and standards (NEC, IEEE 1547, UL 1741, NFPA, IFC), utility interconnection processes, construction agreements, operating agreements, and typical financing documentation (term sheets, closing checklists).
  • Excellent project management, communication, and client-relationship skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, PVSyst, and energy modeling tools; familiarity with storage modeling and hybrid configurations a plus.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, concise deliverables for non-technical audiences (banks, investors, lawyers).
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
  • Looking for self-starters who can hit the ground running with little guidance.
  • Perform work as an individual contributor whenever abl

🌍 What do we offer?

  • Opportunity to lead high-profile transactions with top financial institutions, IPPs, and developers.
  • A collaborative, international team at the forefront of renewable energy advisory and technical due diligence.
  • Competitive compensation package with annual bonus and growth opportunities.
  • Flexible work model (remote, hybrid, or office-based) and support for professional development.
  • Global exposure through Enertis Applus+’s network in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
