Estates Medical Devices Officer (Band 6)

Direct Medics Recruitment are working in partnership with the South Eastern Trust to recruit a Band 6 Estates Officer to manage specific elements of servicing, maintenance, testing and validation service of medical devices and medical equipment within the Trust. Contract is full time for 3 months initially (Subject to performance there is possibility of extension)

Requirements

• A degree in a relevant subject plus 2 years’ relevant experience OR A HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant subject together plus 4 years’ relevant experience OR be due to complete year 2 of the HSC Engineering Graduate Training Scheme.

• Experience in managing equipment and up-to-date methods of maintenance planning.
• Experience in the control and deployment of in-house maintenance staff and/or contractors.
• Knowledge of current health & safety legislation and best practice guidance associated with medical devices.
• UK driving license and access to a car.
• Right to live and work in the UK.
