Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Base Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Ridley Park, PA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level or Lead Supply Base Management Specialists

Position Responsibilities:

• Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations

• Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies

• Analyzes and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance data to identify risks, issues and opportunities

• Develops mitigation plans

• Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities

• Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years’ experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

• 3+ years’ experience in program management within supplier management 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 3+ years’ experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity

• 3+ years’ experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action

• 3+ years’ experience with proposal development and contract negotiations

• 3+ years’ experience working in supplier management, engineering and/or operations

• 3+ years’ experience working in a multi-functional team environment

• Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

• Level 4: 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Mid-Level Summary pay range: USD $94,350 – $116,550

Lead Summary pay range: USD $109,650 – $135,450
