Storage Area:

• Architecture Skill set on Dell PowerScale and Other Dell Enterprise arrays like Unity and Data Domain.     
• Deep Technical Troubleshooting and tunning skills on PowerScale and Unity.
• Root Cause analysis for all P1/P2 Incidents, Debugging and Failure resolution. 
• Scripting and Automation of reports, notifications on PowerScale and Unity and other enterprise arrays.
• Preferred Shell Scripting skill to write basic customized scripts to monitor the arrays
• Work with Vendors/OEM’s to troubleshoot and identify a permanent fix.
• Provide technical support for Dell PowerMax, Dell Brocade SAN Switches, PowerScale/Isilon, PureStorage, NetApp, Dell Unity and Data Domain
•     Support and administration of all the above arrays and Switches in a highly commercial and agile environment.
•     Troubleshoot hardware alerts as necessary.
•     Perform Code Upgrade, OS upgrade and Node Firmware upgrades regularly as per the scheduled Update release.
•    Build and Setup the New Arrays by following standard procedures and deliver them as per agreed timelines.
•     Work with users to troubleshoot and solve operational issues.
•      Perform SAN/NAS Migrations, as necessary.
•      Responsible for coordinating planned and unplanned outages and potential recovery efforts in the event of system failure using backup tools, Snapshots restoration etc.

Backup Area:

• Provide technical support for Veeam Backup & Replication Software and Data Protector
• Monitor the Daily Backups and Perform Restores as on when required based on the user request.
• Responsible for deploying security patches and Upgrades to Veeam and Data Protector backup tools.
• Deep technical troubleshooting on backup failures.
• Monitor system logs, activity and performance on all the arrays/Backup Servers daily. 
• Utilize ticketing system to address and resolve customer work requests.
• Know-how in infrastructure support, data center operations and service delivery
• Understanding of   ITIL methodology and effective operations governance methods and processes
• Manage and monitor server uptimes and not impacting SLA levels.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts including US/EU/APAC Business hours. 
•  Join Team meetings & provide updates on Action items/initiatives.
• Support Azure and OCI Buckets Storage Operations in Azure/Cloud environment
• Document the procedures and follow best practice procedures and update the Knowledge Base articles.
