The Principal Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting SOPHiA GENETICS from cyber threats and support the implementation of the information security strategy.

SOPHiA GENETICS (NASDAQ: SOPH) combines Data-Driven Medicine, Genomics and Radiomics, to ensure that the data used to help patients today will also benefit the patients of tomorrow. SOPHiA DDM™ Platform in supporting multimodal data-driven medicine.

You will have the opportunity to recommend and drive new initiatives and support our fast-growing organization. The candidates will be responsible for the implementation of defined security measures, provide expertise on security related subjects, security service management and operations. They will also be responsible for supporting security domain(s) (e.g. Access Control, Cloud/E-Mail/Perimeter/Infrastructure security, Incident response, Vulnerability Management etc.), associated risk management and compliance with Security Policies. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and flexible person with the capacity to work independently on projects to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will :

• Lead Supplier Management, corporate due diligence, and process maturity activities.
• Lead Internal and External Audit compliance activities and drive remediation/response.
• Support the enhancement of Information Security Policies and their application.
• Provide security expertise at the project, department and program level.
• Assess, prevent and mitigate projects Information Security Risks related to projects.
• Coordinate defined Information Security projects.
• Define, Implement and document security controls (ISO 27001 - 2013 & 2022, HiTrust)
• Coordinate external security management (customer requests, external audits, etc.).
• Advise on internal security issues and proactively support.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Engineering, Information Technology or Security,
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security,
• Expert in several of the following domains: audit / service delivery / cloud security / vendor management / security compliance
• Experience working within an information security compliant company (e.g. ISO 27001/HiTrust or equivalent)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Great team-worker,
• Proactive, rigorous, practical thinker,
• Audit experience
• Certifications are a plus (ISO 270001 LA, CISA, CISSP).
