This is an on-site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build, configure, administer, and maintain HBSS Firewalls in accordance with Security Technical Implementation Guides/ Security Requirement Guidelines (STIG/SRG) guidance, applicable Task orders, and best security practices
Perform system administration of HBSS servers, including ePolicy Orchestrator upgrades and client product patches
Review policies and exceptions for the various HBSS modules and provide best practice recommendations
Deploy and sustain the full capabilities of HBSS to all enterprise-wide managed systems including, but not limited to, agent deployments, policy enforcement, reporting and compliance
Maintain HBSS compliance with DISA, US Cyber Command, and Combatant Command operations orders (OPORDs), Fragmentary orders (FRAGOs), Change Tasking Orders (CTOs), and other DoD configuration compliance requirements
Provide guidance in all aspects of network security support to include account setups, port enabling, deploying, and loading agents, policies, and modules
Support the Cyber Security Team to ensure security architecture, design, and implementation is in accordance with DoD Regulations and other governing documents
Engage in hands-on lab testing and development for problem resolution, new product reporting, or technical functionality
Installing and configuring required Trellix products, including but not limited to Trellix Endpoint Security (ENS) Client, ENS Firewall, Threat Prevention, Rogue System Detectors on enterprise Microsoft and Linux endpoints; maintaining ma ware security compliance and troubleshooting/resolving issues remotely via the Trellix ePO console; support system administrators with resolving desktop or server problems and requests such as software installs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant security solutions experience
Experience with building, configuring, administering, and or maintaining HBSS Firewalls in accordance with STIG/SRG guidance,
