Primary Statement of Duties:

- Participate in monthly individual performance counseling sessions.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings. Organize and lead meetings in the Supervisor's absence.
- Remotely upload and download daily work.
- Obtain meter reads for escalated customer or UTC complaints.
- Maintain assigned equipment to standard/specification. To include vehicles, computers, test and safety equipment.
- Execute assigned mobile meter reads.
- Perform manual reads as required.
- Report defective or unsafe service conditions.
- Follow and enforce all corporate and local QHSE standards. Correct and/or report exceptions.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement through process review.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Act on the Supervisor's behalf in their absence, including:
- Conduct field Job Observations and Vehicle Inspections.
- Conduct Skip and Error Audits and report findings to the Supervisor.
- Vehicle swaps to facilitate maintenance, delivery of supplies, diagnosing, and fixing radio boards and equipment.
- Submit Intelex reports as needed.
- Assist with new hire training in the office and in the field.
- Assist other meter readers with issues related to day-to-day meter reading.
- Supports and adheres to the Company’s core values.
- Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
- Supports and adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
- Represents the Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.
Education and Experience (include required certifications, if any):

- Required Minimum Level of Education: High School/Equivalent
- Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5
Desired Education/Experience:

- High School/Equivalent
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Basic understanding of RF technology
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Effectively operate and navigate using a GPS system along with a mapping program or a utility map book and quads.
- Knowledgeable in Mobile Reader software and functionality of the Mobile Reader system.
- Properly enter manual reads into the Mobile Reader or hand-held device.
- Identify unsafe meter, theft of service, or other conditions on an account.
- Ability to effectively plan and execute routes to maximize meter read collections.
- Experience in MS Office. Must be knowledgeable in MS Word and Excel.
- Possess proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Understand and comply with all company goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of day-to-day activities. Possess proficient oral and written communication skills.
