Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Flourish In, you will be at the forefront of community and retail-based events, engaging with customers, supporting outreach campaigns, and driving fundraising efforts for nonprofits. This hands-on role involves managing event operations, educating the public, and inspiring participation. Key Responsibilities
- Engage & Educate – Share nonprofit missions, foster public support, and build meaningful connections.
- Fundraising Support – Assist in meeting fundraising goals to support impactful initiatives.
- Event Coordination – Help organize event materials, signage, and logistics for smooth execution.
- Customer Interaction – Serve as a primary contact for event attendees, answering questions and providing information.
- Encourage Participation – Motivate attendees to get involved and support nonprofit efforts.
- Track & Report – Accurately process donations and gather feedback to improve future events.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with teammates to ensure successful outreach efforts.
- Training & Mentorship – Participate in training sessions and support new team members.
Qualifications
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Skills – Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Personality – Outgoing, enthusiastic, and passionate about community engagement.
- Experience – Previous customer service, sales, or event coordination experience is a plus but not required.
- Organization – Excellent time management and ability to handle event logistics.
- Commitment – Dedicated to nonprofit causes and community service.
- Transportation – Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (travel involved).
