Associate Human Resources Generalist
What will you do?
As part of the Human Resources team based in Stratham, NH, support the HR Business Partners for Timberland’s Brand & Americas Region with the following responsibilities:
Support employee engagement and community service activities with a focus on improving the employee experience and enhancing a sense of belonging among the employee population
Coordinate employee recognition programs (annual and spot awards) including nomination process, securing awards, and preparing communications in coordination with brand and regional HRBP’s
Act as a liaison for the Stratham HQ office with the VF Engagement team to provide local employee input and distribute VF communications, including wellness programs and activities
Manage the onboarding process for new associates, including paperwork and brand orientation to provide a welcoming and supportive experience. Coordinate with Global Timberland HRBP team to ensure consistent Brand onboarding experience – including first day / week support, as well as other New Hire programming (Service Events, Day in Our Boots Program).
Maintain organizational charts, prepare job descriptions and process HR transactions within the Workday HRIS system; track and monitor all processing to completion
Partner with VF Employee Relations team to support offboarding processes
Support HR Business Partners with administrative tasks and projects across Timberland, Dickies and Packs’ businesses
What do you need to succeed?
We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 1+ years of comparable experience in a Human Resources support role.
As a self-starter, the foundational skills you will need in this position are:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR-related software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
Ability to work in office in office 3+ days/week
Strong organizational skills
The ability to multi-task is a must

Hiring Range:
$56,000.00 USD - $70,000.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
