In this role, you’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, and Information Services to elevate our Workday ecosystem, streamline compensation processes, and lead annual events such as merit and market reviews. Your work will influence strategic decision-making across the enterprise—enhancing accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in how we reward our people. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Miscellaneous

  • Develop proficient knowledge and professional skills through cross-training, literature, and attendance at department meetings and vendor education.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships, both internal and external to CCHMC.

  • Motivate and provide guidance to team members while encouraging teamwork.

  • Work well with others and foster a positive team environment.

  • Develop and deliver training objectives as necessary.

  • Prepare and deliver oral and written presentations.

  • Conduct and participate in instructional seminars.

  • Develop expertise in several Cincinnati Children's computer-based systems.

Summary

  • Exercise independent judgment within the parameters of defined policies, procedures, and practices with little to no guidance.

  • Author and execute the testing and quality assurance needs of the enterprise business suite.

  • Document testing outcomes.

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge through the ability to resolve complex issues.

  • Demonstrate understanding of disciplines beyond own area of specialty and remain current with leading-edge developments.

  • Participate in developing business solutions with moderate to high complexity.

  • Responsible for business process designs and user guides, working closely with analysts to ensure technical documentation aligns with business processes.

  • Maintain familiarity with the development lifecycle.

  • Support effective communication between technical and business areas.

  • Participate in developing project plans and managing timelines.

  • Responsible for planning and execution of annual events.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business and technical objectives.

Configuration and Process

  • Implement and maintain business processes with moderate to high complexity within the enterprise business application suite.

  • Serve as a key contributor on cross-functional teams to implement and validate application configuration solutions.

  • Possess advanced knowledge of application and reporting tools, providing analysis and recommendations for business needs.

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of project management methodologies and application development lifecycle.

  • Lead annual Workday compensation events, including merit, bonus, and market cycle planning.

  • Create and maintain documentation supporting enterprise business applications.

  • Apply business theories, concepts, and principles to recommend and draft solutions for process improvement.

Production Support

  • Provide support and resolution assistance for escalated production and process issues.

  • Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex errors.

  • Identify required resources and collaborate to resolve issues efficiently.

  • Use appropriate Change Control methods to implement system solutions.

  • Serve as a liaison between business areas and Information Services teams.

  • Support departmental efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Evaluate and review recommendations for business process improvements.

  • Design and execute effective plans for process change.
