As a VP, Sales at Corcentric, you will join a fun, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will play a key role in retaining, enhancing, and growing sales in the Fleet GPO Construction & Agriculture (ConAG) and Materials Handling Divisions. You will concentrate on gross billings, revenue generation, growth, customer development, infrastructure, new opportunity discovery, the application of relevant technological advances while supporting the procurement sales efforts to a wide variety of industries inclusive of Fleet, Construction and Agriculture, and Materials Handling.
This key position focuses on our ConAg vertical, and reports to the SVP, Procurement Services within our Fleet Procurement Sales team. We’re a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!
As a VP, Sales – Fleet Procurement, ConAg, you will:
- Lead sales activities along with a team of Warehouse Management sales representatives, providing leadership in the day-to-day operations of sales efforts, while maintaining focus on the division’s strategic goals.
- Analyze sales, market and industry trends to determine business growth potential.
- Work closely with the Senior Vice President in the development and implementation of strategic plans as well as financial and forecasting responsibilities.
- Remain knowledgeable of all company service and technology offerings across all divisions with specificity in Procurement, Financial Services (CES), Remarketing and Supply Management as well as Corcentric’s O2C, AP and AR products
- Work closely with all related support functions to maintain and grow business inclusive of Credit, Supply Management, Marketing, HR, and IT.
- Seek out and target new industry and distribution channels, initiating action plans to approach and secure new business for the Company.
- Monitor team performance on a continual basis and hold personnel accountable.
- Recommend and assist in talent management decisions and related division build-out.
- Support sales collaboration opportunities with other departments and divisions of the Company
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key supplier national contacts and other relevant agents.
- Travel and participate in industry events.
Requirements
You’ll need to have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or similar. Equivalent experience will be considered
- A result-drive mindset and extensive field sales experience
- Relevant leadership experience leading a field sales team
- Experience in the transportation industry, preferably with detailed knowledge of Fleet Procurement and Strategic Sourcing, and possess sales and negotiations acumen.
- Fluency in procurement process, e-commerce, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, workflow solutions and integrations techniques.
- Understanding of the myriad of support and marketing functions required to maintain proper communication, billing, and support (i.e., the customer experience) with the customer
- The ability to travel regularly for business
