What You’ll Do

  • Deliver expert physical therapy care to pediatric patients across a range of diagnoses.
  • Assist the Head Physical Therapist in supervising and managing daily operations in our Inpatient and Outpatient Pediatrics areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure best practices and exceptional patient outcomes
  • Mentor staff and students, fostering growth and excellence in pediatric rehabilitation.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and quality improvement projects.

This is a non-rotating, full-time position (Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm) with weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience with post-operative orthopedic, neurosurgery, cardiac, and general acute care inpatients
  • Pediatric developmental knowledge and handling skills
  •  Knowledge of post-operative protocols
  • Outpatient pediatric experience
  • Master's degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • APTA Board-certified clinical specialist

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with 2 years in Pediatrics
  • Senior Physical Therapist status or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized college or university
  • New York State license as a Physical Therapist
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
