Position Overview: 

At Entrust, our strength is how we effectively deliver leading-edge products and solutions to our customers, and we’re proud to set the standard for success in our industry. To support our growth, we’re seeking a Customer Data Specialist within the Global Customer Operation’s team. The Customer Data Specialist is responsible for the administration and tactical maintenance of data within the Oracle Trading Community Architecture (TCA) module. The position requires the use of independent judgment to manage all assigned projects, daily tasks, and interpret and apply Entrust business practices and systems. This individual is also responsible for providing Entrust’s internal customers with a highly reliable experience and additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Customer Experience

  • Address opportunities for process and/or system improvements to enhance the customer experience

  • Serve as a liaison between customer and non-customer facing colleagues to ensure timely and appropriate transfer of information and response to inquiries

  • Accurately document inquiries and issues into proper databases

  • Collaborate with colleagues as needed to manage workload

  • Meet or exceed performance standards and metrics with a focus on quality, accuracy, timeliness, and effective communication

Installed Base (IB)

  • Manage and respond to all Installed Base requests sent to Customer Master including, but not limited to:

    • Moving serial numbers or instances to different partner or direct accounts

    • Updating bill to or ship to site locations for serial number or instances

    • Adding and updating preferred service technicians tied to their respective regions

    • Moving serial numbers or instances to different end user accounts

    • Inactivate and expire instances as requested by service, contracts, or marketing

    • Create instances for items not in the installed base due to system errors

    • Researching serial number information for service or contracts as requested

    • Create child instances for field upgraded products

    • Maintain integrity of the data that is entered into the Oracle Installed Base

    • Inactivate, merge, and maintain all information in the Installed Base on an ongoing basis using the established processes and approvals

    • Act as subject matter expert on Installed Base for departmental projects

    • Additional responsibilities as assigned by department manager

Qualifications: 

Basic Qualifications  

  • High School Diploma/GED and equivalent training, Associates Degree preferable

  • 2+ years of customer service experience

  • Experience in a service or manufacturing environment utilizing integrated business systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Skilled in fast-paced, accurate data entry

  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS, specifically for trading community, order management, and installed base

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or another CRM system

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment, demonstrating professional demeanor in all work-related interactions
