PURPOSE: The US Campus Recruiting Manager is responsible for generating a pipeline of top talent from our portfolio of universities, community colleges, and virtual channels. This includes virtual and in person recruiting, candidate engagement, academic partnerships, event management, and analytical assessments of talent opportunities. As the Manager of the UR program you will partner closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure our campus relations strategy supports our strategic direction and has strong business group engagement.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive college recruiting strategy aligned with the organization's hiring needs and goals.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with college career centers, faculty, student organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to promote the organization and its opportunities.
  • Planning and attending career fairs, information sessions, networking events, and other campus activities to connect with potential candidates.
  • Organizing and hosting recruitment events such as campus presentations, workshops, and interview days to showcase the organization and its career opportunities.
  • Identifying and sourcing top talent through various channels, including campus recruiting, online job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
  • Oversee interview process and lead debriefing sessions for all college related interviews.
  • Lead US Intern/Co-op program initiatives, including but not limited to: Placement, Engagement, Onboarding, Reviews, Peer Program, Presentations, Offboarding etc.)
  • Lead a team of recruiters to represent Lincoln Electric’s employer brand by striving for best in class campus presence and expectations.
  • Build a strategy for diversity initiatives through national and local relationships with HBCUs, SWE, SHPE and NSBE. Including but not limited: conferences, committees and sponsorships.
  • Partner with compensation team on salary and hiring trends that may impact pay
  • Revamp and manage campus ambassador program across the US
  • Collaborating with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including coordinating orientation programs and providing relevant resources.
  • Tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of college recruiting initiatives and make data-driven improvements.
  • Serving as a brand ambassador for the organization, promoting its values, culture, and employer brand to prospective candidates.
