Head of Professional Services, Google Public Sector, Defense

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 10 years of experience in program management.
  
• 7 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
  
• Experience delivering digital transformation projects to global organizations.
• Ability to hold and maintain a Top Secret national security clearance is required.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Certification in CAPM/PMP.
  
• 10 years of experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  
• Experience leading professional services teams including practice management and operations, methodology development, business development support, pre-sales, executive relationship management, and managing delivery of complex professional services engagements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Be a credible thought leader within Google and industry in the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
  
• Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management, whereby improvements are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide. 
  
• Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. 
  
• Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities. 
  
• Lead strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.
