Mission

 

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Technician for an asphalt plant in Brunswick, GA. The successful candidate for this position will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Is responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, and related policies.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or D.O.T. specifications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.

Level 1 GA D.O.T. Technician Certification preferred.
 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
 

 

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
