Position summary:
Kravet Inc. is the world leader in luxury home furnishings relied upon by residential and commercial interior designers and architects to help design and execute the creative vision for their clients' spaces. The PR, Influencer Marketing and Events Manager role is a critical role on the marketing team managing the presence for some of the industry’s most recognized brands. This role will report to the Vice President of Communications and be responsible for coordinating special events nationwide, enhancing brand and marketing campaigns with press and influencer efforts and helping to garner press coverage for our brands and campaigns. The individual should be a self-starter, strategic and creative, with experience in influencer marketing and public relations. This individual needs to be naturally curious about the luxury industry and be able to provide recommendations to enhance our experiences that drive results. This person must also possess strong writing skills and attention to detail.
The role will be based out of the NYC office in the Flatiron neighborhood but will be hybrid at this time with 2 days a week in the office. Once a month, the marketing team meets in the Woodbury, Long Island office.
Key responsibilities:
Public relations:
- Develop and implement comprehensive collection and brand storytelling campaigns and pitch strategically to editors and publications.
- Responsible for managing reactive requests from editors for high-res imagery and copy.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant editors and keep in communication to ensure timely press features.
- Create and distribute press list database and lookbook/press release dissemination.
- Place orders for editor requests and track product.
- Responsible for all credit requests.
- Responsible for the press clip archive and working with Digital Marketing on sharing press efforts externally.
- Submit new introductions to design center newsletters.
- Monitor and analyze PR results.
- Maintain a pulse on industry news.
Events:
- Coordinate and plan event logistics.
- Responsible for supporting the maintenance of regional event budgets.
- Create invitations and work with showrooms nationwide to identify successful event strategy.
- Support design center markets nationwide.
- Work with social media team to support events.
- Responsible for special events nationwide (i.e. High Point Market, LCDQ Legends, Modernism Week).
- Responsible for working with travel agency to book licensor/partner travel for events and budgeting.
Brand strategy & influencer engagement:
- Ideation and implementation of influencer programs to create content to move brand metrics and drive sales.
- Creation of meaningful activations that align with brand goals and will deliver memorable experiences, create content, and lead to stronger relationships.
- Forge through new ideas, new programs and new ways of communicating with interior designers via compelling yet targeted content to ultimately engage them and inspire them to become brand advocates.
- Work with team to stay up to date on market developments, consumer behavior and competition.
- Maintain strong proactive knowledge of target customer, and marketing trends.
- Ongoing licensor relationship management-conduit to licensors team during launches for content and up to date info, bios, headshots, mood boards, etc. plus request travel schedule and analyze for synergy.
Requirements
Qualifications
4-6 years relevant experience.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferable in marketing, public relations or communications.
Experience with luxury brands preferred.
Knowledge of the home industry a plus.
Knowledge of Photoshop, inDesign a plus.
Strong writing skills.
