Job Duties
The position is for an Assistant Unit Coordinator who will be responsible for supervising staff and managing administrative tasks. This role involves supporting both administrative and clinical tasks, as well as assisting Unit Coordinators, the Treatment Team, and patients. The responsibilities include delivering nursing care, overseeing staff, and managing 16-40 patients per unit. Additionally, the role involves recruitment, ensuring employee safety, participating in committees, protecting patient rights, developing and reviewing policies, and contributing to employee training and orientation.
This position requires some shift work and the ability to work overtime hours when required
Minimum Qualifications
· Licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing as RN.
Additional Considerations
- ANCC Certification in Adult Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing preferred
- PGH or similar institution experience preferred.
- ANCC Certification in Geriatric Nursing preferred.
