Field Engineer Hospital and Home Automation Sales Specialist

Region: Germany & Austria

 

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the sales and clinical support of all Masimo Hospital Automation products within the assigned territory.
  • As a sales specialist, you will handle demonstrations, clinical evaluations, closing, installation, and follow-up of your projects.
  • The primary sales focus for Hospital Automation products will be on ventilator-assisted shared living facilities and out-of-hospital intensive care facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Acute and Alternative Care team to expand opportunities and the sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product training following successful installations and for existing customers as needed.
  • Report to the Hospital & Home Automation Manager Germany & Austria.
  • Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or biomedical studies with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in IT (infrastructure, networking, databases, cloud computing) and/or hospital information technology and/or medical devices.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols in an enterprise environment; CCNA or equivalent knowledge is an advantage.
  • Understanding of routing and switching technologies and concepts, as well as network system troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, VMware, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in selling and implementing hospital automation projects.
  • Fluent in German and good level in English
  • Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt communication style (discussions with CxOs, IT departments, physicians/nurses, engineering teams).
  • Service and solution sales mindset.
  • Clinical knowledge and understanding of the German healthcare system, including a solid understanding of hospital workflows, intensive care, perioperative care, and the healthcare ecosystem.
  • A team player with a track record of successful collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
