Clinical Operations Specialist

SUMMARY
The Clinical Operations Specialist is responsible for providing quality assurance, continuous improvement, and direct support to all field clinical staff. The Clinical Operations Specialist will be an advanced healthcare provider with experience in remote or austere environments that can critically think, problem solve and uphold the core values of RMI in the performance of their job duties.
The Clinical Operations Specialist is expected to work as part of a team to ensure clinical excellence through audits of electronic patient care reports and remote clinic sites while providing constructive feedback to field clinical staff. The Clinical Operations Specialist must maintain all required certifications as an advanced health care provider and any other required certifications to deploy to remote sites as needed by RMI to support our field clinical staff and clients globally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to deploy to project sites globally
- Protocol generation, review, and revision for direct patient care
- Process medical records requests
- Determine necessary release forms
- Obtain and release records where appropriate
- Complete full, in-depth medical record review and report alongside Medical Director when required
- Provide oversight of healthcare record quality assurance
- Review for appropriate treatment, recordability designation, and policy/protocol compliance
- Conduct Audits of remote project sites and clinical facilities
- Clinical, inventory, Ops processes, documentation
- Provide RMI or client required training as needed
- Conduct clinical interviews with potential new field providers
- Clinical Onboarding of new or returning field clinical staff
- Liaising on a daily basis as needed with client and RMI internal staff
- Provide insight and sound clinical judgment to assist with changes/updates to kits and load outs
- Assist with understanding/explanation of medication and equipment involved in patient care
- Intake and processing of off-IMT requests
- Develop/assign appropriate formularies for new projects/existing projects with new needs
- Update, maintain, and administer Emwerx documentation system as well as auxiliary programs and software (Twilio, et al.)
- Project and location management
- Obtain and configure pathway for Topside consultation
- Corporate and field personnel access and training management and maintenance
- Monthly Topside schedule input and management; updates as requested by physicians
- Create and maintain training resources
- Other Duties as assigned

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration or a clinically relevant field; (or) four years of experience as a remote healthcare professional with an associate degree in applied health sciences, emergency medicine, an
