Job Description

AI.Accelerate Overview:

Are you a technically curious and ambitious undergraduate student with a passion for Artificial Intelligence? ServiceNow invites you to explore our AI.Accelerate program where you can develop practical AI skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and immersive environment.

This eight-week unpaid bootcamp is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the core concepts and techniques of AI, with a focus on practical application and real-world problem-solving. You'll learn from experienced instructors, work on challenging projects, and collaborate with a cohort of talented peers.

  • Dates: June 15 – July 31, 2026 (Virtual) + Week 8—beginning of August (In Person)

  • Location: Virtually via Zoom

  • Duration: 4 hours a week (plus homework)

What You'll Learn:

  • Agentic AI Foundations: Understand what makes an AI system "agentic" — including autonomy, reasoning, and action-taking — and how LLMs are evolving from chat tools into decision-making agents.

  • Agentic Design Patterns: Explore key architectural patterns including React, chain-of-thought, tool use, and memory, and understand the difference between single-agent and multi-agent systems and when to use each.

  • Prompt Engineering: Learn techniques for writing reliable, production-grade prompts that drive consistent and predictable agent behavior at scale.

  • Building Agents: Design agents that use tools, APIs, and external data sources, and learn how to structure agent memory — both short-term and long-term — for complex, multi-step tasks.

  • Multi-Agent Orchestration: Build and manage multi-agent workflows where agents collaborate, delegate, and hand off tasks to accomplish goals that no single agent could complete alone.

  • Evaluation Frameworks: Learn why evaluations are the most critical part of building AI systems and how to design frameworks that define what to measure and how to measure it effectively.

  • AI Safety & Responsible Use: Understand real-world failure modes including hallucination, prompt injection, and behavioral drift, and learn how to build guardrails and safety checks into agentic pipelines.

  • Capstone Project: Design, build, evaluate, and defend an AI agent from scratch — putting every concept from the program into practice and presenting your work to a panel of ServiceNow engineers and leaders.

Innovative Learning Structure:

  • A blend of lectures, hands-on laboratories, and collaborative projects fostering a cohort- based, hands on learning experience.

  • The program concludes with an in-person experience where participants showcase their capstone project, explore career opportunities at ServiceNow, and connect with the broader engineering community.

  • please note: this is an unpaid program and is not an internship
