As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for the onboarding of new plan sponsors to Retirement Manager in addition to adding additional services requested by our current plan sponsors. You will manage all elements of implementation events and tasks that require coordination with multiple internal and external parties as well as be the main point of contact, project manager, and liaison during implementation activities. These tasks include but are not limited to communicating the implementation plan to our stakeholders identifying key objectives and deliverables. Best of all you will become the primary resource for subject matter expertise on the implementation process.
We want to hear from you today if you can:
- Develop, communicate, maintain, and manage the detailed project plan to ensure deadlines, milestones and success criteria are met or exceeded through timely coordination and communication of the details necessary to complete the implementation project by the agreed upon effective date.
- Consult internal/external customers on timing for implementation milestones.
- Analyze and effectively communicate broader operations aspects to help influence decisions across departments for services being implemented.
- Identify out of scope services and manage escalations as needed.
- Offer subject matter support to plan sponsors, vendor field representatives and internal departments.
- Work closely with the assigned Relationship Manager, ongoing Account Manager, and various internal business partners to ensure a smooth transition at the end of the project.
- Act as primary group/internal liaison for the implementation process and/or escalated customer issues.
- Perform full front to back-end implementation process consisting of coordination the completion of required agreements and system setup.
- Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with plan sponsors, vendors, and our internal subject matter experts.
- Track and report implementation activity results in a “real time” fashion via internal Implementation databases and reporting tools.
- Perform peer and final quality review for all internal systems and external client facing system setups for implementation and ongoing maintenance related items.
- Conduct debriefs with management at the end of each implementation for continuous improvement process.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Extensive project management experience with solid knowledge of the various retirement plans and subsequent provisions.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Possess strong organization skills in a high-volume environment
- Ability to analyze data, determines root cause, and provides and/or develops an appropriate solution for resolution.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software
- Proactive problem-solving ability with solutions-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment and make decisions while considering client requirements.
- Flexible, adaptive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Sound judgment in making critical business decisions
