Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that support the assigned department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Type correspondence, memos, forms, tables, reports, etc.
- Answer and place telephone calls; assist callers if possible or transfer calls to the proper individual or department; take and deliver messages; greet and assist department visitors.
- Maintain the department’s recordkeeping and filing systems; classify, sort, and file correspondence, forms, reports, and other documents; maintain records and files.
- Open and sort departmental mail; prepare outgoing mail.
Related Experience:
- Prior Administrative experience a must
Education or Degree Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
