Job Description: 

Parsons is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Research Engineer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations.Youllbe a critical member of a small team, responsible for research anddevelopment of cyber capabilities. Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors whoare dedicated to providingsuperior service in support of national defenseobjectives. 

This position can be remote, hybrid, or in-person. Candidates willing to be hybrid and able to work in a classified environment at one of Parsons’ offices in Centreville, Chantilly, or Herndon, VA are preferred.  

 

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering (VR/RE) against a variety of hardware and software targets 

  • Allocate tasking to support larger-scale cyber tool development   

  • Perform testing and integration of cyber tools 

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 10+ years of professional related experience; Master's degree in related field will be considered in lieu of 4 years on experience 

  • 10+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86 

  • 5+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development 

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals   

  • Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments 

  • Experience with CI / CD Pipelines and version control (Git)   

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development
