Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Research Engineer to join our team in support of specialized military cyber operations. You’ll be a critical member of a small team, responsible for research and development of cyber capabilities. Join our team of best-in-industry cyber warriors who are dedicated to providing superior service in support of national defense objectives.
This position can be remote, hybrid, or in-person. Candidates willing to be hybrid and able to work in a classified environment at one of Parsons’ offices in Centreville, Chantilly, or Herndon, VA are preferred.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering (VR/RE) against a variety of hardware and software targets
Allocate tasking to support larger-scale cyber tool development
Perform testing and integration of cyber tools
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related technical field and 10+ years of professional related experience; Master's degree in related field will be considered in lieu of 4 years on experience
10+ years utilizing programming languages such as Python, C, C++, x86
5+ years of experience in vulnerability research and/or cyber tool development
Knowledge of networking fundamentals
Experience developing in Windows and Linux environments
Experience with CI / CD Pipelines and version control (Git)
