Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at the rendering plant. The Janitor will maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility, ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for all employees. This role is crucial in supporting the plant's operational efficiency and adherence to hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, hallways, and office spaces.

· Clean and sanitize restrooms, showers, break rooms, and common areas.

· Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.

· Clean windows and glass doors and ensure that all surfaces that hands touch are properly sanitized.

· Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and materials.

· Clean and maintain production areas, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

· Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

· Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

· Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.

· Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Previous janitorial or cleaning experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is a plus.

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

· Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

· Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Excellent time management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Working Conditions:

· Work is performed in a rendering plant environment with exposure to noise, odors, and varying temperatures.

· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

· Regularly required to perform physically demanding tasks.
