Salem, OR – OYA Financial Services Division (Equitable Center)

Join our team at the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) as a Cost and Compliance Accountant and play an important role in managing the agency's accounting and financial reporting functions. In this crucial position, you will collaborate with technical and professional staff to oversee cost allocation, financial systems security, the OYA SPOTS Program, and capital asset inventory. You will be instrumental in preparing annual financial statements, designing and implementing accounting systems and controls, and developing comprehensive accounting policies and procedures. This role requires proficiency in the Statewide Financial Management Application (SFMA), expertise in complex financial accounting, and a strong understanding of the Oregon Accounting Manual and GAAP.
