Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Your mission

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the accounting of our company and lay the foundation for the consolidated financial statements. 
You will be responsible for the following exciting tasks, among others: 

• Responsible for postings of all current business transactions of the parent company and subsidiaries (USA, Singapore, Austria) 
• Reconciliation of general ledger, accounts receivable, customer accounts, fixed assets, stock accounts and Intercompany accounts
• Monthly VAT for Germany and USA
• Posting of monthly accruals and provisions 
• Conceptual work for further digitalization and process optimization 
• Working on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements in close coordination with Controlling and management 
• Communication with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities 
• Internal contact for all accounting-related questions within the company 

Your profile

• A successfully completed university degree, commercial training, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience. 
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting. 
• You are proficient in financial statements according to HGB and ideally have gained initial experience with IFRS.
• Initial experience in group accounting is desirable. 
• Analytical, structured, and results-oriented thinking and action, as well as a solution-oriented and independent working style. 
• You have strong user skills in Sage or comparable ERP solutions, or complex Accounting Systems. 
• You are proficient in common MS Office programs, especially Excel
• You have several years of professional experience in finance and accounting - ideally in an industrial company
• You work independently, reliably, and solution-oriented
• You are a team player and communicate openly and clearly
• You enjoy developing processes and tools
• Language skills:
  • German: B2 / good
  • English: B2 / good
