Job Description

The staff accountant is responsible for maintaining and reviewing general ledger, A/P and A/R systems for accuracy.

Staff Accountant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Accrual calculations and tracking.
• Procurement System requisition set up and receiving.
• Accounts payable coding and tracking.
• P&L review including revenue reporting and expense tracking.
• Other accounting tasks as assigned by Business Controller.

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 year general accounting
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
