Senior Stress Engineer

<p>At Destinus, we are on a mission to build near-space vehicles and infrastructure to power the world’s fastest transportation network. You will be primarily responsible for developing mechanical/structural systems for subsonic/supersonic and hypersonic flights. You will be a part of our engineering team and interact with all engineering disciplines to resolve new issues as they arise. It is the unique project with unique opportunities for skill and experience.</p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <ul> <li>Independ analysis task performing;</li> <li>Structural, structural / thermal analysis and sizing of aerospace structures;</li> <li>Vibration and frequency response analysis;</li> <li>Structural optimization;</li> <li>Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis;</li> <li>Laboratory, ground and flight test support;</li> <li>Analysis tools development;</li> <li>Test program development;</li> <li>Preparation of technical reports and presentations;</li> <li>Continuous exchanges with suppliers; </li> <li>Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures;</li> <li>Raw test data processing and analysis validation;</li> <li>Certification and qualification process support.</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <ul> <li>Independ analysis task performing;</li> <li>Structural, structural / thermal analysis and sizing of aerospace structures;</li> <li>Vibration and frequency response analysis;</li> <li>Structural optimization;</li> <li>Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis;</li> <li>Laboratory, ground and flight test support;</li> <li>Analysis tools development;</li> <li>Test program development;</li> <li>Preparation of technical reports and presentations;</li> <li>Continuous exchanges with suppliers; </li> <li>Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures;</li> <li>Raw test data processing and analysis validation;</li> <li>Certification and qualification process support.</li> <li>Knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of the French or German language is an advantage.</li> </ul> <p>Would be a plus: </p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of continuum and solid mechanics.</li> <li>Knowledge of applied mathematics and physics.</li> <li>Understanding of hypersonic flight physics.</li> <li>Experience of C++ / Python / Matlab programming.</li> <li>Experience of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis.</li> <li>Experience of laboratory, ground and flight test.</li> <li>Knowledge of GVT performing.</li> <li>Experience of CFD (Ansys Fluent, Star CCM+ etc).</li> <li>Participation in certification process.</li> </ul> <p>If you wish to apply for this job, please upload your CV and a short motivation letter in English.
