Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director of FP&A will play a critical role within the Financial Leadership Team, fostering consensus and commitment to effectively implement management reporting across corporate functions. This includes budget versus actual analysis, acquisition integration, margin improvements, and KPIs. The ideal candidate will approach projects with flexibility, innovation, and a strong service-oriented mindset, emphasizing both system- and people-driven solutions. This role will drive the organization’s operations finance strategy and develop a forward-thinking approach to forecasting, margin enhancement, and continuous improvement.
Eligible candidates have and can work successfully in a remote environment and are experienced working in a fast-paced hyper-growth tech company. This is a full-time, remote role, and is open to candidates in the United States or Canada with the ability to work hours that overlap mostly with Eastern Time.

To qualify for this role you have:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking, with a focus on high-growth tech companies.
- Excellent business partnering skills
- Commercially astute
- Demonstrated excellence in business analytics, operations, tools, and processes.
- Advanced Excel skills; and experience navigating through systems enhancements with financial planning tools.
- Extensive experience in financial modeling, forecasting, M&A analysis, and due diligence.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience working remotely.
- Must be eligible to work in the region of hire without sponsorship from an employer now and/or in the future.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
- SaaS company experience.
- Prior experience working directly with a CFO and/or in a senior leadership role.
- Experience with a successful exit event (IPO or acquisition).
- Advanced financial certifications (CFA, CPA).
In this role you will:
- Be a business partner with operations, sales, and HR teams to improve internal reporting processes and give commercial insight.
- Work with the data team to build dashboards and visualization tools
- Perform in-depth analysis of company performance, including identifying key KPIs and metrics
- Streamline processes to improve the performance of the company
- Perform operationally focused financial analysis and data gathering to support strategic and business development initiatives.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, including preparation of annual budgets, monthly flash reporting, and quarterly forecasts
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the CFO and executive leadership on capital allocation, M&A, and investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investments, corporate development transactions, and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and KPI analyses to support data-driven decision-making.
