Core Engineer Powertrain

Job Information

Position Summary    
The Core Engineer, expert on his domain provides support to local EMEA projects and also help to define the technical road map for his Engineering function area (hydraulics, electrics and electronics, powertrain, SW). 

Role & Responsibility

Technical expertise
• Leads core engineering projects and sub councils’ activities
• Define & revise components requirement linked with new technology development.
• On his function, define the architecture and technology suitable for a project: workout initial concept design and calculations.
• Support product design on his function: new product development, cost reduction activity, production sustaining activities & R&D
• Present results in formal reviews
• Develop & revised validation plans for hydraulic components and systems
• 8D & DMFEA champion 

Management    
• Functional reporting to Core Engineering Function Lead - Powertrain
• EMEA team member of Engineering Sub Councils
• Support planning activities

Job Requirement

Education & Qualification   Engineering Master degree or equivalent
Experience    >3 years    
Travel Standard    <15%
 
Knowledge & Skill    

• Deep Technical Knowledge on systems related to his engineering function.

• General Knowledge in other engineering systems

• Simulation skills

• CAD skills

• Manufacturing processes and quality
