This role can be based out of any of our three US offices; San Fransisco, Dallas, or Las Angeles.

 

About The Accounting Manager - Integrations and Special Projects:

 

The Corporate Accounting team is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support the integrations and special projects currently happening here at Crunchyroll! Be an integral part of the process of building the infrastructure needed behind the scenes for the accounting department to help support the business goals. Participate in process improvements and financial system automation.

As the Accounting Manager, you will report to the Director of Accounting and work side by side with key Finance partners to provide insight into the development of processes, policies, systems, controls, and compliance. Create insightful close packages that summarize key business and accounting decisions for managers and executives Drive process improvements and automate manual workflows to achieve efficiency and scalability.

 

Day in the Life of our Accounting Manager:

• Work to resolve and document complex accounting issues and pending transactions.
• Participate in process improvements and financial system automation.
• Collaborate with main Finance partners on the development of policies, systems, controls, compliance, fixed assets, content assets, revenue, and inventory.
• Perform ad hoc GL reconciliations and analysis and assist with month-end close.
• Help with monthly financial statement reporting, fluctuation analysis, intercompany and consolidations
• Help with acquisition accounting and integrations

 

About you:

• 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in a SOX environment)
• Microsoft Excel skills (Index Match, sumifs, pivot tables, etc)
• Experience developing SOP, policies, and controls
• Experience working complex accounting functions with a fast-growing company
• CPA (active or inactive)
• Accounting ERP experience (preferably Netsuite or similar)
