Convenience Store Manager

Gibbs Oil is seeking a dedicated and experienced Convenience Store Manager to oversee our busy convenience store operations. As the Convenience Store Manager, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, managing store staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and sales reporting.
• Train, mentor, and supervise a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction are consistently met.
• Manage inventory levels, place orders, and conduct regular stock checks to maintain product availability.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
• Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales and attract new customers.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a convenience store setting.
• Strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proven customer service skills with a focus on building customer loyalty.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience with inventory management systems and point-of-sale software.
• Basic financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
