Job Description
The Corporate HR Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing various human resources activities in support of corporate goals and objectives across multiple corporate functions by working closely with functional leaders and their management teams. This individual will proactively address current and future needs of the functional teams with the objective of increasing organizational capability, effectiveness, and individual performance.
This individual will provide generalist guidance and support for a wide range of areas including HR Strategy, Organization Design & Effectiveness, Talent Management/Employee Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, HR Policies & Procedures, HR legal compliance and Company Culture.
Primary responsibilities include:
Foster relationships to effectively partner with the key functional stakeholders in support of our HR strategic plan for talent acquisition, performance management, organization design, employee relations, leadership development, HR training, and corporate responsibility.
Partner with functional group leadership on workforce planning, identifying high-potential employees for development plans, and overseeing full life cycle external recruiting with diversity and inclusion strategies.
Lead and support corporate HR projects and initiatives with a focus on process simplification.
Develop and administer regular job evaluations, salary ranges, and annual merit review programs, using relevant market data as needed to maintain competitiveness.
Create proactive HR solutions to reduce risk of legal/regulatory exposure.
Handle employee investigations, manage conflict resolution, and analyze exit interview patterns to create HR action plans.
Lead and support functional leaders with annual talent review, calibration, and performance review processes.
Supports managers with employee engagement and change management through effective communications with functional teams.
Support the development of early in career HR talent within Corporate.
Be a values and culture champion to support and coach managers on leadership development in creating an empowered workforce.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required; Masters preferred. S/PHR desired
8+ years of HR experience, preferably with manufacturing organizations, partnering with executives in all facets of human resources including recruitment processes, benefit and compensation administration, employee relations, talent management, and legal compliance requirements.
Strong written/verbal communication skills; good listening skills; a team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the Company and who is sensitive to cultural differences.
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience creating reports from an HRIS strongly preferred Workday a plus)
Experienced in project management on various HR innitiatives
Travel; less than 15%
