From portfolio planning to sustainability, you ensure our spaces reflect our values and support our business goals.</p> <p>At Basware, Senior Manager, Corporate Real Estate leads the global CRE strategy and operations, partnering with local offices and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-performing, cost-effective, and future-ready workspaces. This role reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This is a global role, and some international travel will be expected to support regional operations, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul><li><strong>Strategic Leadership</strong>: Drive the global CRE strategy in alignment with Basware’s business objectives, ensuring our real estate portfolio supports growth, agility, and employee experience</li><li><strong>Portfolio Optimization</strong>: Lead lease transactions and portfolio planning to maximize asset utilization and operational efficiency</li><li><strong>Financial Stewardship</strong>: Oversee CRE budgeting and cost management, leveraging data-driven insights to identify savings and improve performance</li><li><strong>Operational Excellence</strong>: Analyze and report CRE costs, conduct scenario planning and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions</li><li><strong>Vendor Management</strong>: Source, negotiate, and manage contracts for facilities management services, ensuring quality, compliance, and value</li><li><strong>Space Planning &amp; Workplace Design</strong>: Champion workspace optimization initiatives that enhance productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction</li><li><strong>Project Delivery</strong>: Lead refurbishment and relocation projects with minimal business disruption, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution</li><li><strong>Sustainability Leadership</strong>: Embed Basware’s sustainability principles into CRE operations, driving environmental performance and responsible practices</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Engagement</strong>: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of CRE services across geographies.</li><li><strong>Governance &amp; Policy</strong>: Develop and communicate global standards and guidelines for office operations and services, ensuring consistency and compliance.</li></ul> <p>We are seeking a dynamic leader who brings both strategic vision and operational rigor to the CRE function. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:</p> <ul><li>Proven experience managing leased offices and FM operations across multiple countries.</li><li>Deep expertise in corporate real estate acquisition, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and project management.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen in contract negotiation and vendor coordination.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD file interpretation; modification experience is a plus.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of workplace planning and design principles.</li><li>Demonstrated success in driving process improvement and change management initiatives.</li><li>A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.</li><li>A relevant degree in engineering, business, or a related field.</li></ul> <p>Awareness of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, or applications is considered a strong asset.
