ARSIEM is looking for a Network Systems Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Ft. Meade, MD.
 
 

Responsibilities

  • Support a mission critical enclave network, with both physical and virtual network devices, utilizing Cisco, HPE, NetApp, VMWare, Ansible and other hardware, software, and storage technologies.  
  • Work closely with the customer to understand their desired configurations, identify ways to optimize network efficiency, as well as help plan and execute infrastructure changes. 
  • Work with a team of HW/SW Engineers, System Administrators, and others supporting the mission and developing innovative solutions to complex problems.  ​

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Current, relevant, and proficient experience in VMWare, RedHat, and Cisco technologies
  • Current experience with networking and virtualization; Linux and Windows OS
  • Experience with Ansible, Docker, Quay, Tenable Nessus
  • Experience with NetApp and ONTAP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating in an operational lab environment
  • Experience in cybersecurity analysis, databases, reverse engineering
  • Experience with MacOS, Splunk, BigFix
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role? The bonus for this position is $5,000, and the referrer is eligible to receive the sum for any applicant we can place within 12 months of referral. The bonus is paid after the referred employee reaches six months of employment.
