Logistics Advance Sequencing & Warehouse Specialist (ASWS)

The Advance Sequencing and Warehouse Specialist (ASWS) is responsible to manage deliverables of a New Vehicle, Model Year or Mid-Cycle Action Launch for Tier 1 Sequenced Parts Delivery and Modular Suppliers. This role is responsible for ensuring supplier readiness through Pilot and Launch phases by validating the adherence and execution of the readiness checklist including: Purchase Order, Change Notification and Part Line Up, Site Readiness, Broadcast Connectivity, Equipment Validation, Error/Mistake Proofing. This role supports insourcing innovation to mitigate future dependency on third-party sequencing. The ASWS also participates in and promotes lean Stellantis Industrial System activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform up front program loading studies and cost roll ups for new programs for an assembly plant.
- Document Supply (SPD and modular) requirements in Source Packages. Ensure correct modular lineup code is used in the source package. Validate Supply SPD/ PAB MPAB requirements are implemented in production part P.O.'s.
- Liaison between engineering and material flow team on part complexity and tip level management. Help prepare business case to take on cost effective insourcing.
- Develop detailed timeline and lead SPD implementation meetings, training, launching, MPAB/PAB set up, supply issues resolution between Module supplier and Tier 2's (releasing, CN mgt., etc.) with Engineering, Supply Chain, and 3rd party SPD suppliers.
- Obtain CN approval or cost change authorization for SPD labor part numbers.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focused on production control, supply chain or material handling
- Ability to demonstrate lean manufacturing knowledge and application
- Ability to direct the workforce and deliver results on Key Performance Indicators
- Experience in resolving conflicts with professionalism and integrity
- Ability to adapt and manage change to support business needs
- Strong understanding of the systems and procedures related to production control, supply chain or material handling
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field
- Stellantis Industrial System Logistics Pillar knowledge
- Experience Working in a Unionized Environment
