Job Objective:

Responsible for accepting donations and sorting, scanning into software, photographing, listing, and shelving items that are to be placed for sale in an online store. To prepare electronics such as computers, laptops, tablets, and gaming consoles for sale across multiple online retail platforms. This position reports to the E-Commerce Manager who evaluates performance annually.

Essential Job Functions:

• Factory Reset and Function Test personal electronics and gaming systems to prepare them for listing online.
• Sort incoming media including DVD’s, Blu-Rays, and Video Games into lots for sale online.
• Photograph, list, and warehouse items for sale online.
• Maintain electronics/general merchandise and warehousing shelves, purging unsold items when necessary, and ensuring that all electronics are warehoused appropriately and correctly.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned workspace and proactively working to prevent workplace hazards.
• Communicate effectively with the E-Commerce Manager and Production Assistants regarding any operational issues or challenges and collaborate on developing and executing corrective action plans to address identified problems.
• Answer all online customer inquiries regarding listings in a timely manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times with a customer-first mindset.
• Crosstrain in all E-Commerce Processor duties and help as needed in other departments within E-Commerce to ensure the steady flow of merchandise through the system to help maximize funds for the Goodwill Mission.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Education and Skills:

• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred or the willingness to become certified.
• Previous experience in factory resetting personal electronics required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with staff, customers, and management.
• Proficiency with listing software.
• Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Able to frequently bend, twist, reach above shoulder level, push and pull, crouch or stoop, kneel, repetitively use feet, and use head and neck in a twisting or static motion and to look up and/or down, and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Ability to effectively and safely use standard office and light industrial equipment.
