E-commerce Order Administrator

Our client is a thriving e-commerce platform specializing in multi-brand retail. They take pride in providing customers with a diverse selection of high-quality products. To support their growth and maintain a seamless order processing system, we are seeking an Order Administrator with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills.
As the E-commerce Order Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of wholesale orders, managing communication with the sales team, and ensuring a high level of customer service. Your role will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of our order management system and enhancing customer satisfaction.
This is a 40hours/week fully role working 9am-6pm EST.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing:
Create and manage wholesale orders, excluding large core orders, with extreme attention to detail.
Communicate proactively with the sales team to resolve order issues, including out-of-stock items, back orders, or delays due to reception issues.
Customer Service:
Serve as the dedicated point of contact for wholesale customer service, addressing inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
Create replacement orders as needed to resolve customer concerns.
Fulfillment Management:
Track and report fulfillment errors and damage occurring during transit, escalating issues to the warehouse when necessary.
Investigate and manage orders in cases of loss in transit, short shipping, or other errors, ensuring a timely resolution.
Wholesale Sample Shipments:
Responsible for creating and managing wholesale sample shipments, including tracking and reporting.
Maintain an organized system for sample management.
Channel Management:
Take ownership of Faire and Candid channels, both on the front and back end.
Manage orders from these platforms, mark them as paid, verify addresses, and make necessary order updates.
System Administration (OMS):
Set up new SKUs in the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Perform regular inventory refreshes and maintain product lists, including updates to COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
Handle backordered SKUs and manage aging orders in Skubana.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage Poketo Store orders and trade show logistics.
Assist in marking unpaid Shopify orders as paid and perform general Shopify maintenance.
Handle factory-direct shipments and any other related tasks.

Proven experience in order administration, customer service, or e-commerce operations.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with order management systems and software.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
High level of self-motivation and adaptability.
