We are seeking a Drone Technician who will join an elite team tasked with developing and manufacturing new hardware alongside engineers and a full team of technicians to safely build production volumes of flight articles to sell to customers around the World. Hands-on work on hardware will span a number of areas: build and integration of complex electrical components and modular hardware. Software and Firmware loading and full system Hardware and Software checkouts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with common hand tools and light power tools
- Able to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions
- Working knowledge of common electrical components
- Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
- Proficient with computer use (Networking, Word Processing, etc.)
- Familiarization with Various Computer Operating Systems to include Linux/Unix OS (CLI, Git, and various coding languages: Python, Java, C, Go)
- Experience loading firmware and software onto integrated digital systems using Command Line Interface (CLI, terminal, Shell etc.)
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, effective time management, ability to work with minimal supervision
- Prior hands-on experience with kit, model, or experimental aircraft builds
- Prior UAV experience
- Experience with CAD, NX, or Solidworks
- Experience running functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- Part 107 License: RC pilot experience on both rotary and fixed wing
- Holds an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license or has similar training
- Piece part fabrication experience including sheetmetal (waterjet, press brake, etc.), and subtractive (machining) and additive manufacturing (3D Printing)
- Forklift certification
