Document Control Specialist, Staff

We are looking for a Document Control Specialist to join our Target Rock team!

As our Document Control Specialist, you will assists the Configuration Supervisor in the control of design configurations through our information systems and Design Control procedures.  Responsibilities include entry and maintenance of Item Master’s and Product Structure records in Oracle System. Creates and reviews item structure in Oracle based on drawing and other provided information. The Configuration Administrator assists the Configuration Supervisor to coordinate and maintain the ECN process. Maintains ECN records.

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Salary/hourly rate: $65,000 to $75,000

Your Challenge

• Reviews part and product structure and processes spare part orders.
• Enters and maintains Item Master records and Product Structure records in Oracle System
• Coordinates and maintains overall ECN process
• Assigns Raw Material and Hardware item part numbers
• Maintains Departmental Metrics

What You Bring

• Must be a US citizen.
• Minimum of two (2) years of configuration experience. Working knowledge of ORACLE ERP Product Data Management module.
• Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
• College or trade school education in mechanical drawing and/or configuration management (preferred)
